In memory of William Orten Carlton, $7.50 from every shirt sold will benefit the Athens, Georgia, nonprofit Nuçi’s Space, which works to help those suffering from mental illnesses, with a focus on musicians. Ort was for decades the greatest and most passionate advocate for the music created in his hometown of Athens.

The front of the shirt has Ort’s familiar signoff — WHOLEHEARTEDLY — emblazoned in red. For the back, we captured a tender farewell in Ort’s handwriting from one of his letters to a friend.  It reads, “Loads of Ort Hugs As Needed. Best, Ort.”

This shirt is loosely constructed and made with 100% heavyweight, ringspun cotton, so it's super comfortable all year long. The images are printed by hand on the front and back of the shirt with water based pigment inks.

Water based ink on white cotton.

Features:

  • 100% ringspun cotton
  • preshrunk soft washed garment dyed fabric
  • twill taped shoulder-to-shoulder
  • set-in sleeves
  • double needle stitched sleeves and bottom hem
  • 1 ribbed collar with double needle topstitched neckline
  • Our orders generally ship within 3-5 business days.
